Randomly Me

A couple nights ago, I was playing in one of my flower beds when I noticed a little bird about a foot from my head. He was perched on a black eyed Susan bud, staring straight up, and wouldn’t move, even when I told him he was acting a little strange. Yesterday morning I went to see if I could find a nest, and I discovered this….two juvenile cedar waxwings in exactly the same position as the one I saw the night before. I don’t know if they were standing guard, trying to blend in, praying, or whatever, but I find their behavior interesting. Thanks to Insideout for taking this picture after mine didn’t turn out.
