I don’t always agree with you, but I always admire that about you. When I started here, I chose not to use my own name so I could be myself without fear of saying something stupid and jeopardizing my job. And then I made “friends,” most of them from the opposite end of the political spectrum. Since I’m easily entertained and tend to write about fairly tame subjects, it wasn’t a problem at first, but more and more recently, I’ve found myself biting my tongue. That irritates me, so here I am.

I don’t hate all of BLM, because I am sure many of its supporters are good people and mean well, but I do hate the behavior you describe. And, like you, I dislike being seen a racist because I think, overall, they do more harm than good.
