I’m not surprised, but even still, whenever you mentioned your situation, I felt dishonest. I’ve never thought of you as heartless. Resentful at times maybe, but for good reason.

I was given a permanent protection order and court permission not to disclose my address to him. It was WAY too easy. Even in my situation, I don’t think it should have been that easy. Of course, he didn’t bother to show up for court.
