Walking between rooms.

A quick experiment. I created a simple space with 6 different rooms. Each room has a different sound playing. In this way a physical/ virtual space can hold a memory. When you enter a room you hear that rooms associated sounds.

Fulfilling a similar function to Proust’s madeleine a virtual space can evoke memories.

Imagined memory palaces are an old mnemonic device. Objects or ideas that needed to remembered were associated with a point in an imagined or remembered space (a memory palace).
