#1 How did the Renaissance impact the use of scientific principles and technological advancement?
The Renaissance was a time of creativity and change so it had the most significant impact the use of scientific principles and technological advancement. The Renaissance produced a golden age with many achievements in art, literature, science and technology such as printing press and the heliocentric model of the universe that developed by Nicolaus Copernicus.
#2 What impact did the use of science and technology during the Industrial Revolution have on society?
For my opinion, I think the impact of science and technology during Renaissance makes our lives much better and easier. The renaissance had led scientists to question traditional beliefs about the workings of the universe so that contribute us to gain more important knowledge, and during the industrial revolution, many inventors had done a lot of observation and experimentation to invent many innovative technologies which had improve everything in our life to be more convenient nowadays.
#3 What is Toeffler’s Third Wave theory and where do you think Thailand is in his suggested theory of change?
Toeffler’s Third Wave theory is explained the development in human life in each era. There are 3 waves which are agricultural revolution, indutrial revolution and information society. The third wave contribute people to have an ability to access all of the information easier and no one can keep the information alone anymore. Then people will decided to choose what they want to learn from the information that they received, so people no need to be an employee because everybody can become an entrepreneur at their houses by receiving the information to invest in the right target audience. In addition, developing country should be rapidly developed, especially to accelerate to educate people at all levels, and the country must provided the foundation of the main device such a satellite and computer networks. I think Thailand is not completely in the third wave because there are some places that this stuff cannot reach to the area as much as it should be.
