In their hearts, a flame of loyalty burns bright,
Companions ours, never lost from sight.
Beneath their velvet coats, a soul of gold,
Their love eternal, like stars of old.
They follow our footsteps,
wherever we roam, Greet us with joy,
when we return home.
Offer solace, when our spirits are low,
Understanding, when words fail to flow.
Our best friends, we can never replace,
Loyal, brave, forever they embrace.
Grateful we can be, for their presence so dear,
Dogs, whose love is beyond compare.
