Kayaking | Want an experience like no other? Kayak in the East River for an incredible view of the Brooklyn Bridge. Kayaking takes place Thursdays 5:50 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. until August 26.


Surf & Turf Seafood Festival | Bring friends, family, and a big appetite to this event and enjoy tasty seafood including clam chowder, lobster rolls, and coconut shrimp. Festivities commence July 15–16 at Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport.

Lowepro Photo Walk Liberty State Park | Calling all photographers! Show your passion for photography on July 15 at Liberty State Park. Capture scenic views of the New York Skyline, 911 memorial, and classic architecture of the Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal with photographers familiar to the area.



Mukilteo Garden & Quilt Tour | Looking for a unique, outdoor experience? Head to the Rosehill Community Center this weekend for a self-directed tour of seven gardens and 100 quilts. The event is July 15–16 in Mukilteo.

Timber Outdoor Music Festival | Let the family enjoy a weekend of fun, music, and nature on July 13–15 at this outdoor event. Activities include a 5K run, family activities, and camping in forest this weekend at Tolt MacDonald Park in Carnation.


Movies in the Park | Catch a flick during the warm summer night with Movies in the Park. The event will take place throughout Portland parks and communities July 13 — September 8. Don’t forget to bring chairs or a blanket!

Atomic Days Fun Run | For 1-mile runs for children, 5K walks/runs, and 10K runs in Arco try this long-distance running competition. Cool down with fun activities after your run is over. The fun begins July 15 at 7:30 a.m.

Boise Hawks | Take the family out to a minor league baseball game this weekend. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m. July 15–16 in Boise.
