Your Spring Animations Are Bad (And It’s Probably Apple’s Fault)
Mike Rundle

A while ago it would have saved me some time knowing CA generates only keyframes for your animating objects. That means if the object (ex. UIButton) is not clickable while animating, but it’s ending position is (clickable), even if it is not yet there. So a practical example of the advantage Facebook Pop has with recalculating position is when you want to implement clicking on a moving object without extra work. By “extra work” I mean that Gesture Recognizer could have solved the issue.
