Meet Our Sup App University of Michigan Ambassador, Lexy

Hi, I’m Lexy! I’m currently a freshman at the University of Michigan, studying Psychology. I am from Chappaqua, New York. Aside from my position with the Sup app, I’m involved in my sorority, volunteer work, my dorm’s hall council, social media, and of course, Netflix. Here are my 5 favorite places to use the Sup app in Ann Arbor:

1. On my way to the dining hall — usually Mojo.

If I am alone, the Sup app is the best way to see if friends are in my area. Why eat alone when I can see that another friend is 20 yards from me? Maybe he/she wants a lunch buddy too?

2. In the UGLi!

I can’t tell you how many times I have wondered if someone else in Psych 112 is nearby. Now I can check easily!

3. In the Diag

I have been told countless times that I have the same breaks as many of my friends. Instead of missing them walk by, I open the Sup app as I’m leaving class, and I can “Sup” my nearby friends to see if they want to get a snack with me before my next class.

4. At parties!!

It is so easy to get lost in crowds of people. If you ever lose your friends and want to make sure that they didn’t leave without you, open your Sup app and see if they are still close by. If they look like they are drifting, I can text them within the app and tell them to wait for me. It’s so helpful to be able to see which friends are still nearby.

5. With my roommate

Has your roommate ever been studying into the late hours of the night? If I want to make sure she is headed home at a reasonable hour, I can open my app and see if she is moving closer on my radar.

I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to share Sup with my fellow Michigan students. With the Sup app, I’m never lonely!
