Kreds cryptocurrency: core team update; changes coming.
To start things off, we wish to thank everyone from the Kreds community who voiced their concerns over the price of Kreds and the related exchange markets. Our team did not hold a pre-sale, ICO, or sell any coins. We personally invested the equivalent of 200,000 USD to give Kreds services and several exchanges because on we believe in the Kreds mission, it’s potential and have confidence in our team to execute on our plans. We are not a team that would invest in something unless we felt it was worth putting our funds into.
Our team has pushed live web wallets, API integrations, Android wallets as well as several changes to Kreds wallet source (with community help and direction). We have developed and launched a live working proof of a concept business and economic model at https://www.krediblepolitics.com/ along with a multitude of services and partnerships with industry peers.
Despite our development efforts — which in our opinion far exceed many projects with much higher valuation — the value per Kreds has only diminished. At this point for us to continue our work we need to secure funding in order to pay salaries to current team members and also continue hiring new talent to our team.
We do not manipulate the Kreds exchange markets in any way, shape or form as we firmly believe that market manipulation is an essentially futile exercise. Whatever price traders are deciding its worth is up to the community of users in Kreds.
We believe the fundamental economics of our launch may have been poorly viewed due to general public perception of trust and premine/airdrop issues. Given how much work and utility Kreds has been given and the amount of marketing we have pushed out, our team sees no choice but to spend the next month developing a strategy to change the project in a way that is beneficial to its health and profitable to all who take part of it now and in the future.
During this time our core team will hold several meetings and reach consensus on plans and changes to allow for future project and business success.
We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to all who have shown support for the Kreds project this year; our team can build nearly anything for a digital currency ecosystem if given a budget to sustain our work. However, given the current market conditions, it appears our team and project must evolve and change to attain this, and it is this evolution which will receive the bulk of our focus for the next few weeks.
