Shortcomings of the current system

Although there is a need for renewable energy around the world it is still new to the market. There are few things which are still holding back a few setbacks due to which people are lacking interest in it. Below listed are few points.

Lack of Transparency

There is a lack of transparency in the current renewable sector, the consumers, investors, and users are unaware of where their energy is produced which builds a wall amongst them. Also, there is no connection between the consumers, they remain disconnected from energy producers, investors, and utilities. As consumers are less aware of the climate change there is no means of participation between them.

Lack of Liquidity and Raw materials to build the project

And also, they lack in raising the required capital to build the project. Due to the lack of funding in the system, there is a scarcity of raw material too.

Lack of technology.

The development is very slow in the Renewable energy project and there is also the lack of technologies to produce sustainable renewable energy. It still needs new technologies to rely on which will solve all the above problems and be efficient to produce energy at a low cost.
