Tea Review: Lemon Myrtle Breakfast

Today, we here at Virgo 19 HQ were in the mood for a black tea. So we opened our Tea Tracker and decided to have a sip of the Lemon Myrtle Breakfast! The Lemon Myrtle Breakfast is a true “Aussie cuppa” and is described by our vendors as “A modern “billy tea” that offers the essence of the Aussie outback. Lemon myrtle blends beautifully with Daintree black tea.”

The Leaves!

You can see the lemon and the myrtle mixed in the Lemon Myrtle Breakfast leaves. The dried green myrtle leaves are quite prominent, giving the tea leaves a pretty visual appeal. The leaves also have a nice clean aroma.

The Brew!

As the Lemon Myrtle Breakfast tea is a black tea, we brewed our tea for 3 minutes. Steeped for that long, the brew took on a delightful light brown colour. However, the brew was aroma less.

The Drink!

Lemon Myrtle Breakfast

The Lemon Myrtle Breakfast is a full bodied tea that warmed us right up! There is a bright aftertaste. The whole brew was deliciously fresh and bright. We recommend drinking the brew piping hot!
