Trade-offs are a Difficult Part In Life
It’s easy to see why.
By definition, a trade-off involves choosing between two things we want.
Too often we only see the negative side of trade-offs, which we have to give up. But there is a positive side too.

Trade-offs become a competitive advantage when made deliberately and strategically.
An example of this could be Ikea. They decided to sell furniture and not provide services for assembling them. This gave the customers a sense of accomplishment as they assembled the furniture all by themselves and the company saved up costs required to provide assembling services to the customers. Ultimately, this strategy paid off.
The same can be true for you with strategic trade-offs.
