The Loving Warrior: struggle at the boundary

In the previous section we introduced the idea that for Warriors there are No Hard Boundaries, and that Love, accessible through ones path towards Spirit, is the final arbiter for ones Actions…

No Hard Boundaries Leads To Struggle

Of course, if there are No Hard Boundaries, there will be many times when ones Energetic presence… the Actions we take and the decisions we make, come into contact (and sometimes conflict with others). This creates a tension between Energetic entities (people, groups, communities…) that Warriors refer to as Struggle.

That Struggle is intrinsic to our interaction is self evident. All we read about are conflicts of various sorts; fights, crime, War….

We emphasize that Struggle is value neutral… it should not be interpreted in a negative way… It just is…

Struggle and Personal Alignment

Furthermore, on a personal level, we take on the existential challenge of finding Peace… of experiencing bliss and contentment…

We take on the challenge of overcoming ourselves!

We take on the challenge of coming into deeper Personal Alignment so that we can be sufficiently Aligned with Others; other organizations, communities and so on.

Personal Alignment gives rise to internal harmony… which allows us to engage with others harmoniously

Accepting Struggle

As Warriors, we accept the fact that we are faced with continual struggle. We struggle with ourselves, with others, with our perception of ourselves, our perception of others. In short everything that we do and everything that we think about involves some underlying tension; a push/pull duality that defines the interaction.

As Warriors we accept this struggle with no judgement. We do not feel frustration, anger, or pain. We do not revel in the fact that we feel that we are better able to cope with Struggle. We do not feel good about ourselves because we feel that we may be stronger; nor do we feel sad about the fact that we may be weaker.

We simply Act in the face of this reality!… but how do we act?

Acting in the Face of Struggle… the Last Battle

If Struggle is what we are faced with and we are able to accept this with no judgement, we choose to bring the best of ourselves to each moment. We plan, prepare and anticipate…

And when the moment arrives, we bring the full force of our being… with a maximum sense of presence…and the potency of our energetic body…

“Our death is waiting and this very act we’re performing now may well be our last battle on earth… I call it a battle because it is a struggle. Most people move from act to act without any struggle or thought. A hunter, on the contrary, assesses every act; and since he has an intimate knowledge of his death, he proceeds judiciously, as if every act were his last battle. Only a fool would fail to notice the advantage a hunter has over his fellow men. A hunter gives his last battle its due respect. It’s only natural that his last act on earth should be the best of himself.”

- Castaneda

We act decisively…. but what guides our Intention? Which direction do we choose to take things?

Struggling for Love!

As Loving Warriors, choose to utilize our energy, and the potency we have cultivated, to guide contexts, outcomes and relationships to deeper levels of energetic balance and harmony.

We step forward when necessary and retreat when necessary… always honouring the Struggle… the inherent tension…

As we act, we keep in mind our deepest impetus… and the deepest impetus of those around us…

The search for Love…
