Bewilderment

Once I had a friend,
Best of its kind.
Lasting till the end,
Never feared of the world.

But with time,
Things do change.
So did she,
Decided to leave.
Never told me,
Neither did I know.
Things do happen,
As its meant to be.

I had such experience,
So, I do fear.
We have come close,
Very near.
Close to my heart,
Always in my mind.

But still,
Question remains unanswered,
Are we Best Friends?
I really don’t know.
