Evolution…..?

Swirling…..Twirling

Through endless dark space

Tucked safely in a galaxy

A family of dusted lace

A sphere

A speck

The first fruits of life

Evolve.

Exists as God’s mysterious fist shakes out each day

Pray

That what comes sets a path of righteousness

Ua mau ka ea o ka ‘aina I ka pono

Of love, acceptance and mindfulness

But — who came before and before and before

The first Eve of time. The eve of “Adam” — of all humanity

Adam’s shame

Set the first case of “mine”

Not ours and all and everyone’s but them and they and just yours

It’s all about me and my claim to fame

The first tribes the first murder the first leaders the first power

Might Made Right

Sending others out to scavenge, travel, and starve

In turn they raped, pillaged and plundered for power and pride

All over again…..and again……and again

And on and on….

The glittering sphere turns without notice — the raucous of its inhabitants

Nestled in a milky galaxy of bliss

Just disappointment that such a gift of love and beauty can be abused

Tribal power to masses of development for power grows

Buildings, tunnels, waterways and masses of weapons

Defenseless forests slaughtered, silencing birds, browning the air.

GO!……………. push out of the land who don’t agree or hinder your power
