The Opala lamp by Hans J. Wegner was inspired from the maxi-size Opala pendant which was originally designed for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen. This is the mini version of Opala Pendant that is perfect for the kitchen, living room or hall.

Hans J. Wegner was a brilliant light designer. Both The Pendant and his futuristic Opala-series — originally designed in the seventies — are now manufactured by Pandul. Hans J. Wegner received many international awards for his work and in June 1997, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by The Royal College of Art in London.
