Waking up with chutti TV and pogo is far better than waking up with whatsApp and Instagram notifications. The cartoons made our life colourful and beautiful. We used to live with those characters. Absolutely we were able to spend our time happily without Netflix and prime videos.
Let me share about one of my favorite cartoon series GLORIA’S HOUSE. It is a series about a girl gloria and about her messy, funfilled life.
This series was telecasted in both english and tamil ( Gloria vin veedu). Her house is the most messiest house in a street full of perfect houses, but it is a fun place to live in.
There were 5 members in that house with a pet cat. Her father chandramouli is the most messiest man one could ever met. He loves to do some stuffs which makes their life simple. For example, he made a machine which will serve food by itself, a rope which is connected to the door to open it from anywhere, a machine to wash his car, etc.
Then comes another important character shobbi and her family. Shobbi and gloria are classmates and neighbour too. Shobbi’s mom is working as a VJ in a television channel. She hates Gloria’s family as it is the messiest one.
Now, let me narrate the very first episode of this series.
The episode starts with gloria waking up from her bed. She was in a hurry burry as she was already late to school. When she stepped out for school, she saw her dad washing his car with a machine that he invented. As I said earlier he was the messiest person, the machine which he invented is also the messiest one. He starts repairing the machine. Then shobbi joins gloria and both went to school.
In school their teacher asked them to do a project on advertisement. In that project they should advertise a product. When they were discussing about the advertisement, gloria got an idea of advertising her own father, as he was jobless in that time. No one was willing to offer a job to him. So they decided to make an advertisement poster as he is in need of a job and supplied it to every one in that area.
In that time shobbi’s mom nirmala was in trouble with her job. She was doing a show called tea time with nirmala, and she was not able to find a good celebraty for her show.
The advertisement given by gloria and shobbi was reached to a famous singer santhosh, and he called gloria’s father for one door repairing job. Then he recommended him to a top film actess and finnaly to a national level swimmer. In a single day gloria’s father became very famous among the film industry and all started to call himm for repairing jobs.
He was called by a TV channel for one interview, and yes he was interviewed by shobbi’s mom, which was an unexpected one for her. Almost she was fainted in shock as she hate him from the beginning.
From this, one should understand that, we should not judge a person by their looks. “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. Everyone will get their own chance, what matters is that they should make use of it like gloria’s dad.
