Survival Game is an on-chain Ethereum non-fungible token (NFT) that enables unique P2E (Play to Earn) Minecraft competitive PvP gameplay, beyond anything that has been done before.

Our vision for the project is not ‘another plots server’, nor a vanilla PvP server, nor even a ‘minigames’ server.

Our vision is to create the ultimate, competitive PvP tournament, integrated with a true economic ecosystem — complete with a tournament betting system, land ownership, and more.

At its core — sustainable, long-term P2E survival games.

Most crucially, ownership of a unique Survival Game NFT allows the holder to participate and to compete within the games taking place in our private, masterfully-crafted Minecraft Server.

A competitive, ever-expanding ecosystem for fighters to earn ETH, $EMERALD, land, and glory.

The initial supply of our ‘Genesis’ collection will be 5,555 NFTs.

Only Genesis mints in our ecosystem will ever have the ability to yield our native token $EMERALD.

NFTs stored on-chain will take the form of high-end, animated characters, to visualize your player in-game. As seen below.

There are 5,555 different NFT skins available. Some of which possess uncommon, rare, or legendary status, strictly for aesthetic purposes.

NFT traits will exist, and will be revealed in due time.

You will need to stake your character to gain access to our private server and yield $EMERALD.

Only one single character will be staked per player account. You may stake and unstake your character(s) as you wish to play multiple fighters.

You may also ‘rent’ out characters to other players’ accounts and later receive split $EMERALD rewards passively based on their playtime.

The tokenomics for $EMERALD are in development and will be balanced to incentivize accumulation and usage (burning) of the token for gameplay progression towards larger goals.

After a character is staked, players entering the server will be prompted to verify their address by using the provided link and linking the account in order to gain access.

Upon trading the NFT on OpenSea or LooksRare, leaderboard and in-game progress is transferred to the new holder of the character after they link to a new account.

Our server will exist on Vanilla Minecraft, with no mods.

Our server is modeled after Survival Games (Hunger Games) servers where:

  • All players spawn into the game equally distanced into a new map, with no items
  • Loot drops are generated randomly throughout to be scavenged and found
  • Players are rewarded for kills, placement, and time survived

The twist?

The stakes are now raised with incredible on-chain rewards in ETH and $EMERALD, to be won by the most capable fighters.

Sharpen your skills, or connect with pros, because you will be rewarded with our native token, $EMERALD, which is earned through efficient combat, leaderboard placement, and accumulated playtime.

As you increase your $EMERALD holdings by competing in the Grand Games, you will be able to use those rewards within our ecosystem, further described in our roadmap within our Discord server.

A passive earning function to Genesis mint stakers will assure even non-competitive players are rewarded for their contribution to the ecosystem.

Gameplay-wise, tournaments will begin shortly after the NFT mint and NFT reveal have concluded.

These first matches are the Grand Testing. They will be held at specific times in various time zones, all fully moderated by our team.

After the Grand Testing, the Grand Games will begin.

This is a large-scale tournament of qualifiers and finalists to compete for grand prizes of 10+ ETH, with 100’s of individual placement rewards of 0.2–10 ETH.

Matches will then take place automatically, utilizing plugins created by our team of developers, with automatic $EMERALD betting on a custom dashboard created by our experienced development team.

Any $EMERALD holder can bet on fighters’ performance, incentivizing ‘outsider’ participation.

Later down the line, we’re looking to integrate a skill-based matchmaking system into our server.

We’ve also introduced the new concept of bounties into the game. Any player who finds certain hidden items throughout the map can ‘return’ them to the Games Master… and redeem their generous ETH rewards.

We have multiple mechanics in the works for token burn dynamics, such as wagering $EMERALD to play in the Grand Games and minting villagers, our secondary collection.

There are subsystems such as land, betting, and questing; our PvE extension to the PvP games that benefiting our tokenomics loop.

Your ability to take on quests in our expanding book of quests will be directly correlated with your placement in the Grand Games.

Gameplay loop for fighters: Stake → Compete + Bet → Earn → Upgrade → Quest → Acquire → Yield → Reinvest → Repeat.

Longevity is our core ethos at Survival Game. We have immense plans in place, courtesy of our experience with gaming projects, to enable true fighters to make it big the higher they go.

We find that the major flaw of many P2E whitepapers is their failure to take entropy into account.

No white paper is able to rigidly hold, even a week past initial launch, as teams (for example: Raid Party) make drastic changes to balance out economies as soon as real players bring in the element of randomness.

Because the element of randomness can’t be accounted for, we’re intentionally lightly outlining the whitepaper with a heavy focus on post-mint gameplay, as that will inform us of the key areas that require systematic balancing.

Another major talking point in the P2E or ‘GameFi’ community is tokenomics.

We recognize that many projects optimize for short-term ‘ponzinomics’ at the expense of long-term play-ability; In which case, tokens increase with short-term utility then immediately plummet in value because their sole usage was to mint new items or NFTs in the ecosystem. Largely failing to achieve the standard of sustainability.

We at Survival Game have a different philosophy.

We choose to strongly focus on utility, in such a way that heavily incentivizes rapid reinvestment towards larger, interconnected objectives, all with the ultimate goal of encouraging the playerbase to participate in healthier $EMERALD transactions and subsequently, result in a healthier long-term price life cycle.

Our primary objective is to benefit the players (you), rather than the creators (us).

We have designed various mechanics to achieve this overarching goal, as outlined throughout this whitepaper and the roadmap.

After we’ve solidified the tournament and tokenomics, new game-modes will be introduced.

These modes will include games with full building capabilities, team duo and trio game modes, and sponsor & bounty game modes.

New game mechanics such as boosts, kits and classes will be implemented which will connect to your fighter NFT’s traits and $EMERALD usage.

Kits and classes will allow each fighter to choose skills, abilities, and buffs they feel best suit their individual play style.

All players will start on equal footing if they choose the configuration that fits them best.

The introduction of team managers is planned, allowing for multiple holders of NFTs to gain the ability to earn $EMERALD rewards passively for their team’s performance.

Later, as mentioned, land plots will be placed strategically throughout beautifully designed maps consisting of different biomes — towns, treehouses, mountain hideouts, snowy lands, swamps, castles, tech hubs, and more.

You will choose plots in pre-determined locations, and their rarity will determine your placement.

These plots of land act as yield farms for $EMERALD.

At this point, we plan to introduce the secondary collection villagers, who can join the server, acquire land, but cannot fight until they evolve to a fighter, incentivizing players to burn $EMERALD to increase their status.

Land and villagers are designed to be separate, tradable NFT collections.

These will integrate, as mentioned, into the PvE and questing portion of our server built as challenging, guided maps.

More details and particulars will be revealed as the project hits further milestones.
