A bootable USB drive can of course be created on a different computer than the one you want to use it on later. There are basically two possible methods: either manually or using automated tools. The first option seems a bit complicated at first glance, and because of the various manual steps is slightly more error-prone, but it’s still doable even if you’re not an expert.

Need to select the operating system that you want to install:

  1. For Windows 11 visit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11
  2. For Windows 10 visit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10
  3. For windows 7 visit: https://www.microsoft.com/en-US/download/details.aspx?id=49540
  4. For Ubuntu visit: https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop

5. For Kali Linux visit: https://kali.org/get-kali/

6. For parrot OS visit: https://parrotsec.org/download/

You can search for other Linux distributions versions in google and download the .iso file extensions.

Once the .iso file is downloaded, we need to make the Bootable USB. So that we can install the required OS into our Machine.

To make a bootable device we need a storage space of approximately 6GB and above based on your downloaded .iso file.

Install the Software that is required for making a bootable device,

You can use any application that creates a bootable device, such as:
Rufus: https://rufus.ie/en_US/ (Supports Windows)

UNetbootin: https://unetbootin.org/ (Supports Windows, Mac, Linux)

Once the bootable device is ready, restart the machine and enter the boot device mode by clicking F12/F8/F1/F2/ ESC based on your machine.

After a successful boot process, you still have to set up your operating system on the USB drive. This means: Run the Windows setup, establish the internet connection, and download and install all necessary drivers and updates from the internet.
