Meditation Through Breathing Exercise— A way to Manage Nervousness

The best way to start, sits in a quiet place, close your eyes, and take normal breath! Then deeply inhale your breath and exhale in the same manner. After that, inhale in a way that your breaths are penetrating in to your heart, exhale your breaths in a way that it surrounds your outer side of heart. Seems amazing!

I have learnt this breathing exercise in my childhood, but frequently doing this for last nine years. The way I do is little different. I’ll tell you at the end of this blog. At starting I do this exercise just for 10 to 15 minutes, but from the last 3 to 4 years I am doing it twice. Once in pre dawn and other before sunset, and the duration expands to 60 minutes to 90 minutes as well. You were thinking that what the end result of this wastage of time, here it is!

Firstly, when we are centre of attention at somewhere or we are in interview, our heart starts throbbing and our breathing become faster than normal routine. Secondly, when we sit alone different kind of evil thoughts surround us. Thirdly, when we are going to do something new and we are not sure of that, we usually fear of doing that task.

These are few problems that we face in our daily life. So, the above mentioned exercise is solution to these. It not only helps us to overcome fear and nervousness but also provide us with satisfaction and confidence. It also fills our mind and heart with steadfastness that is required to own your own decision. This is what I have been doing for last seven years and I never feel any kind of nervousness or anxiety. Rather it boosts my confidence, satisfaction and keeps my heart beats and breathings normal and calm in every situation.

My method of doing breathing exercise consists of two parts. Firstly I close my eye, bring my focus toward heart, and take normal breath. When inhales I take word “ALLAH” with my breath and make it penetrating into the depth of my heart. When exhale I take word “HOO” with breath and hit a strike outside of my heart in a way that it is cleaning all the fears and dust of my heart, as we usually dusting our furniture. Then start take breathing frequently in little faster way than normal, usually it reach 120 to 150 strikes per minutes. After doing it for 30 to 60 minutes, for the second part of this exercise I start taking normal breath and meditate for 15 minutes.

After doing this exercise I not only feel relaxed, but satisfied, calm. It gives me some other benefits that are beyond the understanding of mind, it’s all about heart!
