Hi — You said: “It is up to consumers to demand that the media they consume is gathered as ethically as their breakfast.”

How do you propose we (consumers of news) do this? I would prefer to read professional journalism (assuming it meet journalistic standards) and think many people would agree. The ability of anyone to publish anything is one of the drawbacks of the ‘democratization of content distribution.’

How, though, would you suggest the average consumer makes a statement. Stop reading HuffPo and those like it? Put $$ down to subscribe to outlets forced to cut costs because of too much free content? Or something more?
