In past years, I just published a list without making too much of a fuss over reporting on the book. I do have a Goodreads account, but I gave up on that system early on — too archaic, cumbersome and not entirely useful.

Y’all know I love a good writers’ prompt. So here’s something casual — the first of 2021.

Sometimes, things pop up in front of me that seem so hilarious, that I can’t even imagine what the initiators were thinking. And then I can’t seem to get them out of my head.

I belong to a huge variety of Facebook groups. Among some of my favorites are the Harry Nilsson group, The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster Group, and The Backyard Chickens (BYC) group.

My interests are eclectic.

Holiday Blunderwear

Underwear has evolved.

For the first time in two decades, I announced to my son last month that we were going to celebrate a “traditional Christmas.” With presents and a home cooked meal.

You see, my little business, Elf Works Lane (elfworkslane.com for the curious) was my life line to paying the bills for just about that length of time. Our claim to fame? A custom made, custom designed, first gift of Christmas, elf made authentic polar express non-Hallmark bell and packaging.
