I was out for a jog once and a snarling, barking pitbull broke out of someones house and charged at me from across the street.
We’d all like to think we’d react heroically and calmly in imagined threatening situations, but…

I was in the same predicament years ago. Can you say FEAR… not nearly as fast as a brain can register that feeling. Freezing was the only way out, closing my eyes was a second option that quickly registered just as fast as I could spell F-E-A-R.
No way in hell I was going to watch what fear sounded like , or looked like for that matter.
My thoughts went into Holy Shit mode and believe me , major panic set in . Crying was the only thing left to help me cope with this horrendous situation. ( however being in *Holy shit *mode did leave me with one other option😬)
Please keep in mind that I had extensive brain surgery, so one would think that *attack dog *would be a piece of cake, nope not a chance!
Unless of course I was a dog that liked cake.
And so it goes, you can decide how this story ended…I’m writing this aren’t I ?
