Wow…Thanks for articulating what is so wrong about protecting the ‘rich and famous’ and the cognitive dissonance that immediately sets in with the starry-eyed fan base. Ariana Huffington was on a talk show promoting her new book about the importance of sleep and she mentioned KB’s retirement in a ‘hero-worship’ way. I couldn’t believe it! Even people like AH, a newspaper publisher of a publication that I often read articles from, disappointed and shocked me in her comments about KB. Yuck…Sick and tired of being sick and tired…when people just don’t want to believe or create a reality to ‘disappear’ the victim in order to satisify their own worldly pleasures.
