Many have speculated about Donald Trump having Narcissistic PDO. However, here are the common features of an entirely different Personality Disorder:

v Egocentrism [It’s all about me]

v Self-esteem derived from personal gain, power, or pleasure

v Goal setting based on personal gratification

v Absence of prosocial internal standards

v Associated with failure to conform to culturally normative ethical behavior

v Lack of concern for feelings, needs, or suffering of others

v Lack of remorse after hurting or mistreating another

v Incapacity for mutually intimate relationships

v Exploitation is a primary means of relating to others, including by deceit and coercion

v Use of dominance or intimidation to control others

v Frequent use of subterfuge to influence or control others

v Use of seduction, charm, glibness, or ingratiation to achieve one’s ends

v Lack of concern for feelings or problems of others

v Lack of guilt or remorse about the negative or harmful effects of one’s actions on others

v Aggression or sadism

v Dishonesty and fraudulence

v Misrepresentation of self

v Embellishment or fabrication when relating events

v Persistent or frequent angry feelings

v Anger or irritability in response to minor slights and insults

v Mean, nasty, or vengeful behavior

v Engagement in dangerous, risky, and potentially self-damaging activities, unnecessarily and without regard for consequences

v Boredom proneness and thoughtless initiation of activities to counter boredom

v Lack of concern for one’s limitations and denial of the reality of personal danger

v Acting on the spur of the moment in response to immediate stimuli

v Acting on a momentary basis without a plan or consideration of outcomes

v Difficulty establishing and following plans

v Disregard for — -and failure to honor­ — financial and other obligations or commitments

v Lack of respect for — -and lack of follow through on — -agreements and promises

v Low levels of anxiousness and withdrawal

v A bold interpersonal style that may mask maladaptive behaviors (e.g., fraudulence)

v High levels of attention seeking

The DIAGNOSIS for someone meeting these criteria would be: Antisocial Personality Disorder with psychopathic features. Clinicians who deal with these folks call this Malignant Narcissism, Sociopathy, or Psychopathy.
