Can’t Go Home Again

excellent article.

I was raised in CA where I moved every two years because my dad was a petroleum engineer and the company didn’t want its employees to get too attached. we lived in mostly small oil towns. lots of them.

my husband and I now live in coastal northern california, a depressed area with no jobs. the major source of income up here is marijuana and its related activities.

we retired here wanting to be away from the mainstream.

this county, with all its poverty, with its drugs, still went for ms clinton.

I am so proud of our people.
