The Last Day of 2017 + Goals

2017 was definitely a whirlwind year!

Health was a big part of it. I was in and out of doctors and just worried about my health. I felt like I was getting sick a lot, but at the same time, wasn’t really taking the time to take care of myself. I wasn’t eating too great, and I wasn’t really active.

By the end of November I was back at exercising and being more mindful about food. At this point, I realize that exercise and eating healthier is a non-negotiable in my life. So in 2018, I’m going to keep going.

Another thing in 2017 I realize I want to change in 2018 is the fact that social media and being on my phone watching mindless memes and videos is just getting out of control.

Spending more time with my kids is more important and also just unplugging from social media more.

As much as I enjoy blogging, it’s something that I am putting on my list, but it’s not going to be at the top of my list. I rather create video if anything. I hope to do more videos in 2018, rather than write.

I also would like to read more. Learn more. Teach others the importance of living healthier and realizing that what you eat affects you as a whole.

I’ve always loved learning about health, fitness and wellness and I want to continue learning as well as teaching others what I know.

As far as relationships, I want to focus on quality and not quantity. It seems nowadays it’s a numbers race, and I’m not into it. I’m just overwhelmed with what I see on my Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feed nowadays. I’m not doing things for the ‘gram or Facebook post, but in a way to teach others and inform others on being happier and healthier.

Looking forward to 2018 and the new memories that come with it!
