Review: Black Panther

Wow. Just… wow.
Gorgeous and high tech. Inspiring, spectacular writing. Afrofuturism — a powerful blend of traditional African culture and modern black empowerment — I’m simply in love. It’s lush and vibrant, a story that acknowledges the history (and contemporary) oppression of black people in America while still fully embracing their birthright as Kings. And Queens. OH MY GOD THE WOMEN. The women in this story… beautiful, black, and powerful. POWER. I keep coming back to that word — Black Panther hums with it, and it’s not the vibranium that makes it so strong.

Go see it.
