I am the parent of two millenials; one, my daughter, is very successful in school and now beginning her career in publishing. My son has had to struggle some and that was due to his choices. Both were given the same chances and I give my advice when asked. If they follow it is another issue altogether. I never hovered and coddled my kids so that they could not function when they grew up.
