Recently, however, a new study shows that plastic pollution poses a serious threat to the life of marine life. For example, eating a piece of plastic is fatal to sea turtles.

The researchers found that a sea turtle that eats only one piece of plastic has a one-fifth chance of dying, and the death rate of eating 14 pieces of plastic has increased to 50%.

The team found that young turtles are at higher risk of dying from exposure to plastics than adult sea turtles. Their research has raised concerns about the long-term survival of some sea turtle species.

Plastics continue to flow into the world’s oceans, creating an ever-increasing threat to life for iconic marine species.

The authors of this new study hope to raise consumer and political leaders’ awareness of the threat of plastics and encourage creative solutions to the problem. A plastic tax or deposit plan may be an effective measure.

Thanks to advanced styrofoam densifier, plastic like EPS,EPE,XPS,EPP can be recycled to ingots or blocks. It can reduce the volume to one-ninth of the original.Styrofoam densifier is a machine of recycling styrofoam/polystyrene to prevent the environment form polluting by plastic.
