My Mysore Visit with Little Budget
Planning to Visit Mysuru india?
Mysore is one of the cleanest cities of india.Located in southern part of karnataka in the foot hills of Chamundi Hills.
Its just a few hour journey from bangalore.By train 3hrs and by road 2.5hrs.
I would not go deep into things like why mysore is famous, well you can get all those detail from internet.
But here i will share my experiance how i managed to visit the place and had and amazing time with very limited budget,as less as 2500 Rupees for 2 day visit.
Lets start with Travel:
If you are from bangalore and wish to visit mysore, there many trains available with a decent frequency.
Pick up a train ticket(170) sleeper class. As the distance is very less and climate is pleasant most part of the year,It is convienient to travel in
a sleeper class. So you need 170*2=340 Rs for to and fro journey.
Accomodation:
With all those various hotel room booking apps around, one can easily get a room in 1000–1500 Per Night.SO basically if you are planning for a 1 night
2 day visit 1 day booking is all you need. One can easily get a good decent room in 1500(I booked my room from OYO,and i felt it was decent)
Sight Seeing:
This is the best part.If you have a smart phone and a valid driving licence, congratulations, your trip is not going to put much pressure on your
wallet.VOGO scooters are available in most parts of the city.Once you install the app you can find the scooter and trust me those are really convinient.
One can use the bike with as less as 6rs per km.You may need max 50–60 km travel(Mysore is not very big city :) ).WHich will cost you around 500–700 Max(
This incluedes your rental and petrol charges)
Food:
Well when it comes to food, irrespective of the place people never really compromise on having a good decent meal even if it costs a little heavy on their
wallet. We indians live to eat,not eaat to live.
So if you go by my above recomendation, you can have a nice trip with max of 2500–3000 Rs. and mark my words you won’t regret it :)
And here are few clicks from my lens :)
