Allan Wing, Sir: you had way more folks in your home town. Where I grew up, the population was maybe 1100. That’s probably wishful thinking. But that’s what the highway sign said. Brother still lives there. Voted for Trump. We don’t talk any more.
Republic, Washington is in Rural Northeastern Washington. Forty miles from the Canadian border. North of Spokane. Mining and ranching mostly. For a long time, one grocery store. Weekly newspaper long gone. Mostly redneck culture. Guns. Hunting. Pretty country. Tough to live there. Spokane is the largest city in Eastern Wash. But still vey redneck.
I live in Seattle now.
