EXPERIENCE IN BOOT CAMP … sofar

Wow counting FOUR days now BOOT CAMP is quite a deal…..

Four Days now and the things I have learnt are really astonishing, like I perfected my git, version control and my python has improved greatly. This is cause previously I had issues pushing my code for review becauseI could not really tell the difference between pushing and uploading the files but now that am a professional there, am available for consultation.

Boot camp has been a challenging experience so far especially being in a foreign country allover Nairobi yesterday when I did not have a proper working station to do research and also submit my work as early as I expected, It was a down moment (at IHUB).

Today was my first time building a WEB API and that’s a big deal by the way.. believe me it is. At first it was all abstract looked for help here and there but all was in vain. However with all the trials, I never gave up, I continued with the consultations until all became a success story. This was my major milestone and at least I can now count that success (“feeling good). Thanks to my facilitator Mr. Jimmy Kamau, at least for guiding me and also checking on my status..I appreciate.

It’s only during boot camp that people are active on the slack forum but few talk…. I know right people are buried in their projects and no one feels like talking unless they are raising an issue.. “Pretty Awesome”
