this is such a poignant piece…………my masters thesis about empathy using drama to develop this tool for a better life in the 21st century. This piece speaks clearly to the difficulty of knowing how to walking in someone ‘s shoes and how important it is to not cause harm because we do not empathize. The writing is very skillful, the message is powerful. Thank you for this insightful sharing . I am in my 43rd year of teaching using drama .I have hope to create times where empathy is possibly developed in experiential and meaningful dramas — this piece reinforces what I believe is so important to provide for students
