Still Creating A Dirty Healthy Way

Creating a dirty healthy life, a dirty healthy way of living, a dirty healthy wellness practice is an exciting, engaging, sometimes scary thing to spend my life doing. But the rewards are fantastic so far.
I hit the 14 pound weight loss number a few days ago. Probably the change that gets the most credit for that is literally chewing my food. Yes, I actually count the chews needed for the breakdown of a radish, or a bite of an egg taco. (Hint, cooked food takes WAY less chews than anything raw.) Another side effect of chewing my food, the ringing in my right ear is lessening. (Haha, you know the warning signs or side affects listed for taking drugs? I think about that a lot. Warning — chewing your food will help your ears, lol.)
The early months of the year 2012, brought me a traumatic, life changing event of which I now suffer a lot of the signs of PTSD. Hyper-arousal is the condition I suffer from the most. As I’m learning to take better care of myself, I’m beginning to recover from some of those symptoms. My hyper-vigilance, while still present, is improving. It is easier to recover and get my heartbeat back to a normal range quicker. Increasing my inner awareness and trying to live each moment more mindfully is what I attribute to the quicker recovery.
After five years, I have finally found a way that is working for me. Thank you Karma/Fate/Destiny for showing me the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the teachings of Joshua Rosenthal. And many many others…..
Because of this school, not only am I learning to heal myself, I’m learning how to help you heal yourself. My wellness practice is still in it’s infancy, but I would love to hear your thoughts about the areas you feel could use some improvement.
Much peace and love to everyone! Thank you for reading this.
