Birdie Buffet update

Today, I am working the customer service department. First, Ms Pretty Bird brought back a filbert that she had stashed in the tall Geranium planter across from the kitchen door because it didn’t have a shell. I don’t know when she found it, but it wasn’t one that I gave her, but like Nordstrom department store, at the Birdie Buffet the customer is always right, so when she put it on the patio chair next to me and gave me a hard stare, I knew she wanted to exchange it for a better filbert with a proper shell. Done!

Her new trick is demanding smaller filberts for the first two I give her so she can stuff them in her throat and ask for one more so she can make off with three at a time. 🤔

Following her example, right after the filbert exchange, one of the squirrels decided that he didn’t want a big piece of walnut after all and dumped it in the big water saucer on the patio and came back for an alternative choice. He wanted a peanut instead. Done!

Customer satisfaction is everything here. 😉
