Work out how you can really stand out

Most markets are busy. No matter what your product or service, you’re likely to face competition of some kind. Even businesses that are completely unique have to deal with the fact that buyers can always choose to do nothing. So standing out is essential as a way of getting noticed and having any hope of getting your buyers interest.

The best way of standing out in any market is with your message. Your message must make it clear that your products or services are either gain creators or pain relievers. But you need to go beyond that. You need to make sure you know your buyers well enough to be able to make it clear HOW your solution will get them to a better place than they’re at now. How it will soothe their pains, and in what way it will make their day or (ideally) their life better. Only by doing these things can you hope to really stand out.
