I didn't claim that there was no evidence. I suggested that if there was evidence that there was some kind of new politically motivated “war on science” as the author claimed, then he should present some actual evidence for it, instead of offering a lot of meaningless word salad that amounted to nothing more than virtue signalling for clicks.

I am not sure what you mean by more “inclusive speech.” The word “inclusive” conjures up echoes of Orwellian “newspeak” for me; used as it is most commonly by groups who are trying to silence or censor someone because they claim that person is not being “inclusive” enough.

I do see both a war against science and a war against free-speech, but it is coming from the so called “progressive” left. If there is a war against science also coming from the political right; that would not surprise me either. It wouldn't be the first time.
