“What It’s Like to Be a Woman at a Tech Conference”

It’s like being a woman (or man) at any kind of professional conference. It is mind-numbingly boring, and then you leave.

“As a feminist”

Ah: There’s your problem right there. People who have steeped themselves in infantile ideology and trained themselves to look for threats and offence everywhere they go; well they are always going to feel threatened and offended.

I have good news though. There is no sinister conspiracy against you, and most people do grow out of feminism as they mature. It is not an incurable condition.

Just one piece of advise though: Don’t ever tell a potential employer that you are a feminist. They know that it is unfair to ask their other employees to endure that kind of constant drama.
