The Legendary Morning Routine

I explained why waking up early is beneficial in this post. Now let us understand what we should do when we wake up early to make our whole day productive and take full power of the rising sun.

There are three divisions of the morning routine:

5:00 to 5:20 = Move

5:20 to 5:40 = Meditate

5:40 to 6:00 = Mastery

The morning routine

Note: These timings can be according to your waking up time and also you may follow this in any order; and time division although 20 minutes is the minimum. (If you wake up at 4 you can do meditation first if you first feel like meditating and do it for 30 minutes if you like it more)

Move

There are four types of movements:

  1. Dancing: Play on your favourite song and dance like you don’t care! It is 5 am and no one is watching you! Make sure you sweat! My personal favourite playlist to dance on
  2. Running: Easy go for a run.
  3. Yoga: Open up any good yoga tutorial you like and start following it, there are many tutorials available on YouTube.
  4. Home Workout: There are many good Home Workouts available as well on YouTube, I personally like Chloe Ting’s workouts
Movement

It is not that you are only supposed to do types of movement above. Only the core to the exercise should be movement. It can be anything — Cycling, swimming, Tai Chi, Skipping, Sports, Hoola Hoop

Why to move?

Movement is repairing for our body. Without movement, our body is like a not repaired and broken car which will give up.

Imagine a Ferrari and a broken Alto which car would win the race?

Of course it would be the Ferrari same with our body.

Importance of Movement

Meditate

There are three types of meditation:

  1. Moving Meditation: Right after dancing or any other movement, put a timer for 20 minutes close your eyes and focus on your breath in silence. This makes it easier to meditate as your body is tired. After 20 minutes lie down for 5 minutes to absorb the energy.
  2. Listening Meditation: Play any devotional songs you like and focus on your breath for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes lie down for 5 minutes to absorb the energy. My playlist for bhajans
  3. Silent Meditation: Sit in a silent place for 20 minutes and focus on your breath, after 20 minutes lie down for 5 minutes and absorb the energy.

Why to meditate?

Meditation is food for the brain. If we do not give food to our brain, our brain will eat us.

Imagine living without food for 10 days, you will eat anything right? Same with our brain.

Mastery

Do the skill you like the most or your hobby if you can’t do it learn about it if you don’t have one, find one! Hobbies are like plants; they need water and maintenance daily to grow. Even if left one day, the plant might die. Same with hobbies. Bruce lee once said, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” Increase your knowledge with the help of books, podcasts and videos. This will grow your skills and you, making you extraordinary.

Conclusion

This morning routine will add double power to you victory hour and day making you even happier and productive. This is the power legendary morning routine.
