Objectives of SwAPP
On the 20th of July, the first view of the Swachh DApp (SwAPP) was officially released on Playstore. The Swachh DApp is a platform which operates an independent user interface that allows the community users to access the distinct exclusive features on the platform while also participating in different platform campaigns. The DApp consists of a front end that is easy to use. It also runs on a smart contract that is built around a completely predictable model of predetermined rules and guidelines for handling different circumstances or obstacles.
Several objectives necessitated the creation of the SwAPP, and one of the core objectives is so it can be used as an interface where the community users can easily dispose of their waste. One other essential objective of the creation of SwAPP is so it can function as a platform that fosters constant awareness among community users about their waste management activities, thereby positively influencing their attitude towards waste activities.
Features of SwAPP
The typical underlying features of a DApp such as decentralization and incentivizing transactions, among others also characterize the SwAPP. However, there are some features which are specific to SwAPP.
By signing up on SwAPP, the community users will be able to access several helpful features. For instance, new users will become members of the Swachh community by simply signing up on SwAPP. Also, the transfer of Swachh Tokens will be made easy on the SwApp since each user gets a Swachh Wallet upon signup. In addition, there is a Real-time Reward chart as well as the token price which makes it possible for users to project the current and subsequent value of their portfolios at a later date. Community users will also be able to receive and also hold their rewards for waste disposal in real time.
The App also gives room for decentralized advertisement by businesses or individuals and provides users with access to its blog so they can be kept abreast of relevant developments and updates. Another feature indicated in the Swachhcoin Foundation whitepaper is that the SwAPP will help users locate the closest SwBin to their location. Through the Swachhcoin Decentralized Application, users will also be able to give donations to desired causes and organisations that are listed on SwAPP. Similarly, voting will be carried out on SwApp when any important decision, e.g. determining NGOs to give donations, has to be made.
Upcoming SwAPP Updates
It is important to note that the above-stated features are not exhaustive, neither are they final. In the course of developing Swachhcoin and making the SwAPP more solid for additional waste management activities, additional features may be introduced in subsequent versions of whitepaper. Some other features may also be removed for cogent reasons such as changes in technology, community decision, conflicting interests, among others. However, it is certain that before the implementation of any fundamental change, paramount importance will be attached to the opinion of the community at large and the authorization of the majority of community users.
