Who doesn't want to find out which condiment they are?

Let’s be real. All of us must have taken the BuzzFeed Quizzes at least once, only to cringe about it later. Someone wanted to find out what kind of pasta they are or which supernatural being matches their personality or which Taylor Swift lyrics describes them the best. Some quizzes tell us if our opinions about Prom Dresses from Pretty Little Liars are same as everyone else’s or if we can identify all the Indian spices or if we can pass a 5th grader’s test (I have failed and it hurts). The bottom line here is that BuzzFeed tells us really unimportant things about ourselves but we love it. Here are a few reasons why we don’t mind BuzzFeed choosing between cat or dog so we can get to know if we are sweet or sour.

1. BuzzFeed is an honest friend.

Most of our friends will not tell us if we are a bad friend. They won’t tell us if we are trashy or cool. They won’t tell us if we are a basic bitch. They won’t tell us if our dressing style is bad. They won’t tell us if our taste in men is bad. But don’t worry, the answers are just a BuzzFeed Quiz away because they have our back the way they have our data. All you have to do is dine at a buffet or plan a party.

2. BuzzFeed doubles as a Vision Board.

They have given us major house goals by making us build a mansion or design a cottage in the woods. BuzzFeed Quizzes have made us want to quit our studies because they told us which Kardashian-Jenner we are. We all deserve a life of being in front of a camera all the time and get paid for it. They have even managed to show us the type of lover and friends we deserve. Let’s be honest. We will Avada Kedavra anyone to get Hermione Granger to be our best friend.

3. BuzzFeed is the Charles Boyle to our Jake Peralta.

Praising us for simply existing? Check! Telling us the best features of our face or personality? Check! Shipping us with anyone, no matter how unrealistic it seems? Check! Giving some really gross food recommendations? Check! And the most important thing is that the BuzzFeed quizzes are always there for us, just like Charles.

4. The best recommendations.

From music to movies, from food to life advice, from alternate career options to books, BuzzFeed quizzes got it all covered. Most of the recommendations given by these quizzes are tailored according to your choices and personality. Plan your future and get a Mantra to live by. Choose fall wardrobe to know what book you should read tonight. Eat some pasta to be told which Italian city you should visit. And the best part is, BuzzFeed will not pester us to know if we really went through those recommendations.

5. BuzzFeed is a school teacher.

Some of the quizzes have managed to teach us lessons that we missed during our time in school. Maybe because we were busy looking at our crush or daydreaming about being an adult (we are all crying now). No need to worry! BuzzFeed Quizzes are here to tell you how knowledge-less you are and let you know the right answers to those questions. So the next time no one asks you what botulism is or how many states are there in the U.S., you will still know the answers.

6. Move over, Ms. Trelawney.

BuzzFeed Quizzes as our fortune teller? Yes please! They have predicted if we will marry our crush or not. They know what we are going to achieve this school year. They have told us whether we will live in New York based on the comfort food we prefer. The best part is that we can know all if this and more by answering some fun questions while sitting in our pajamas for free. They might not come true but BuzzFeed never said their predictions are always accurate.

7. BuzzFeed Quizzes, the positive thinking traps.

Your friends and family must have told you about your bad habits. It could be your temper, fashion choices or anything else related to your personality. But the moment a simple quiz on the internet guesses that bad side of you, it makes you think, “ Am I really that trashy? Am I really so quick to get angry? Am I really a bad friend?”And hey! Maybe these are moments we should really introspect and work on ourselves.

8. BuzzFeed brings people together.

Don’t believe me? Just read the comment section under these quizzes and you will see for yourself what I am talking about. People really go crazy friendly when they share their results in the comments. Also, try doing these quizzes with your siblings or friends. You will not be disappointed The look on your sister’s face when gets to know she is 80 years old mentally is priceless.
