The Pursuit of Happyness Movie Summary
Christopher Gardner, a sales representative, is trying to make a decent living for his wife and children. Gardner’s life went from bad to worse as he and his child were evicted from their home and had to live in San Francisco. Soon, Gardner and his son became homeless and were forced to move from one place to another in the city shelters and in a public washroom at bad times. As his frustration grew, Gardner hoped that his hard work would pay off.
In addition, his quest for a better life illustrates an incredible bond between father and son that no event can break. Things started to look good as Gardner applied for an internship with a stock brokerage firm. At the end of his internship, Gardner is called for a meeting with his superiors and then he discovers that he has got a full-time job at the firm. The conclusion is that Gardner went on to form his own multi-million dollar brokerage firm.
It goes without saying that The Pursuit of Happiness is a film based on the life of tycoon Christopher Gardner. The film depicts the battle that Chris Gardner faced while trying to build a better life for himself and his child. You can see it through the picture when Chris Gardner ran to get there in time.
