Covid, one of our greatest challenges in today’s age. Born from bats and spread through humans, this virus shocked the world.
Who would have thought that a virus was coming which would halt the world. It caused education systems to skip years, businesses to collapse, families to starve, poor and middle class to lose jobs. It caused chaos in finances and hospitals.
There was a time in 2020, when it seemed too difficult to carry on. Everywhere I looked, I found despair. Everything had stopped. It was difficult to find a way out of this.
However, we are humans, and we do not lose hope. We kept fighting as one. Whenever I read stories about people sharing food, teachers teaching online, businesses finding unique ways to sell, it makes my heart happy.
Now, in 2021, I can say that the world is changing for the better.
I see a changed future up ahead, as I am sure you also do. A future not designed before Covid-19. Humanity has always needed a push before great advances. History can certify we have won every time. This will be no different.
The biggest change this pandemic caused is bring people closer to technology. The surge in demands for webcams and rising popularity of Zoom can testify the leap towards a new and more accepted way to communicate.
After this pandemic ends, more of us will be comfortable using techs, students will likely never miss classes, and offices will likely stress quality of work more than time put.
I think that, there is a change coming. And it is upto us to flee or fight.
