Bad Blood

“Hyping your product to get funding while concealing your true progress and hoping that reality will eventually catch up to the hype continues to be tolerated in the tech industry.”

Beginning with Elizabeth Holmes’ personal background and ending with her resolving fraud charges with the Securities and Exchange Commission, John Carreyrou explains the whole spine-chilling story based on the considerable investigation he performed for the 30 pieces his newspaper published. The author does a fantastic job reconstructing Theranos’ narrative. The novel is intriguing and holds your interest until the very end.
