Random Occurrences: Interwoven Tales of a Different Reality
Author: Madhavi Praveen
How often do you have a dream in which you are either falling or dying then instantly wake up and acknowledge it as “just a dream”?
The last time I had one involved swordsmanship. My opponent struck me, and I exclaimed, “So, this is how death feels like!”. Then I woke up as the ugly duckling. ;)
Now, this science fiction book literally deals with the science behind this whole concept through a very interesting and twisty tale. The author has explained different brainwaves. Where brainwaves are the communication within neural networks of the brain. Among these different brainwaves, theta waves are responsible for a person to experience a deep meditative or emotional state.
The story starts with Ananth’s dream or says nightmare. As the story progresses we are introduced to important characters named Diya and Priya. This book ends on a cliffhanger.
The story isn’t told in chronological order. It goes to and fro and needs a lot of attention from the readers. The author has very well penned down a unique story and has tried to explain an interesting concept. Looking forward to reading the second part.
