I’ll buy that. I suppose my interest lies in the fact that the constraining factor looks to be the tunneling part. If the pipes could be laid freely dose it still not makes snes? It would would require a political will at the same level of the rail roads in the 1800s to seize ample land to build all of them. That will I think is overwhelmingly lacking, so digging is the only option for the North East. Maybe it would be better to be running a line from Chicago to Denver where there is more space? That said I’m in general agreement that before hyperloop, it seems like HSR is the intern step. If the California HSR is going to end up in the 100 billion range, I’m guessing the hyperloop is in the half-trillion range. I just can’t see that kind of money being invested. Even if we dropped that kind of money, you could have NSR for California, Texas and maybe Florida. Seems like a much bigger impact.
