In this section, we will look at the various ways in which you can disable your touchpad on a Windows 10 computer.

The first way is to disable the touchpad when you are not using it.
You can do this by going to the Start Menu and typing “Mouse” in the search bar.
When you find it, click on “Mouse Properties” and then select the tab for “Device Settings”.
Here, there will be an option for disabling your touchpad when not in use.

Alternatively, if you are using a laptop with a touchscreen, then all you need to do is go to settings > devices > mouse & touchpad > turn off when not in use.

Another method of disabling your touchpad is by going into Control Panel and then clicking on Hardware and Sound > Mouse > Device Settings tab. Here, there will be an option for turning off your device when not in use that should be selected. If you have a laptop, you may also need to turn off your touchpad.

Your laptop’s touchpad is by default deactivated. The steps listed below will enable it:
1) On your keyboard, hold down the Fn key for five seconds.
2) In Windows 10, the touchpad will now turn on.
