In early December, the SWISH team attended two major tech events in London. Two gatherings of startups, investors, and tech gurus.
The first was Tech Crunch Disrupt, which took place at the Copper Box Arena on the 5th and 6th of December. SWISH was at the Startup Alley, where we were able to pitch our app to potential partners, users, and discuss our ideas with other entrepreneurs.
“I am often taken aback with the enthusiasm and energy SWISH receives from potential users, partners and large companies despite us being in our infancy!” — James Dyer, Head of Product & Co-Founder of SWISH
Setting up shop in these kinds of events is a challenge, but it’s also an exciting change to our routine. Tech Crunch Disrupt, besides the huge number of Startups and attendees, had an amazing line-up of speakers from startups all over the globe. This is why we truly love these events: Not only do we get to blab about “our baby” for a whole day, we also get to attend workshops and talks, and learn a little more about the Tech Industry.
After Tech Crunch, it was time for Unbound London, which took place on the 7th and 8th of December at the Old Truman Brewery, in Shoreditch. Unbound was, unsurprisingly, packed with other startup booths pitching their ideas to everyone who passed by. We spoke to hundreds of people, once again, and our Co-Founders had the opportunity to pitch SWISH @ The Future Stage.
Now that the fun is over and we are back in the office, it’s time to reflect on all the feedback we received from these four days and pull up our sleeves!
We are looking forward to the partnerships we can forge 2017 off the back of these events and to show our community that the best is yet to come. — James
